As a freshly graduated law student waiting for her training contract to start, Kirsty commenced her career in the legal department of a strategic land company. She soon realised that she wanted to focus on people rather than paper and decided to move into recruitment specialising in the property sector. After 5 years in a senior position with a major recruitment business, she realised that there was a need for a more personal and bespoke recruitment service in the planning and development sector, so in March 2011 she set up KDH.
When she is not at work, Kirsty can usually be found either practicing Pilates in the vain hope that one day she might have legs like Elle McPherson’s (despite the small matter of being considerably stubbier) or undoing this good work in one of several favourite restaurants. Kirsty’s biggest claim to fame is taking part in Masterchef in 2010. Whilst she was unable to sufficiently impress John and Greg, it’s allowed her to fully focus on building KDH.
